INGREDIENTS
Toasted bread
Soya milk
Sunflower oil
Vinegar
White wheat flour
Garlic powder
Siracha chilli sauce
Barbecue sauce
METHOD
- Cut the Chiko in two pieces lengthwise and cut each piece into four equal parts. The cubes should have a surface area of 3x2cm.
- Crumble the toasted bread on a plate into coarse crumbs.
- On another plate, mix together the soya milk, paprika powder, siracha sauce, vinegar and garlic powder. Then add the all-purpose flour and mix in order to create a thicker paste.
- Roll the Chiko cubes in the flour, dip in the soya milk mixture and finally roll them in the breadcrumbs.
- Fry the cubes in oil over a moderate heat until they are golden brown. After that, place them on a paper napkin and let them drain. Serve with barbecue sauce.
