Crispy Chiko mediterran cubes

INGREDIENTS

Chiko mediterran 

Toasted bread

Soya milk

Sunflower oil

Vinegar

White wheat flour

Garlic powder

Siracha chilli sauce

Barbecue sauce


METHOD

  1. Cut the Chiko in two pieces lengthwise and cut each piece into four equal parts. The cubes should have a surface area of 3x2cm.
  2. Crumble the toasted bread on a plate into coarse crumbs.
  3. On another plate, mix together the soya milk, paprika powder, siracha sauce, vinegar and garlic powder. Then add the all-purpose flour and mix in order to create a thicker paste.
  4. Roll the Chiko cubes in the flour, dip in the soya milk mixture and finally roll them in the breadcrumbs.
  5. Fry the cubes in oil over a moderate heat until they are golden brown. After that, place them on a paper napkin and let them drain. Serve with barbecue sauce.
