3 featured products of the month

A lot is happening in our production! We're developing new products and new recipes. Many exciting innovations are taking place behind the scenes that we can't share just yet—but don’t worry, those who follow us will be the first to know.

This time, we wanted to highlight some of our products and introduce you to our top 3 favorites of this month.

1. Tempeh

At the beginning of the year, during our monthly meeting at Grashka Deli, we reviewed last year’s performance and were curious to see which dish from Grashka Deli was your favorite. With a record-breaking result, Proteinka won—its main ingredient? Our Tempeh.

Want to know more about the product?

Tempeh is made from cooked soybeans bound together by snow-white Rhizopus Oligosporus mycelium. The fermentation process makes it easier to digest, more nutritious, and therefore even healthier.

Who is it for?

Tempeh is ideal for sports enthusiasts due to its high protein content. It’s delicious when cooked, baked, or fried.

How to prepare it?

For a flavorful marinade, use garlic, ginger, tamari sauce, vinegar, maple syrup, and thyme. Let the tempeh caramelize well and enjoy it in stews, salad bowls, sandwiches, and burgers. It’s also great for Asian dishes or as a cold-cut alternative.

Ingredients: Soybeans, water, thickener: calcium chloride.

Recipe: Winter Salad with Tempeh and Red Orange

At Grashka Deli, we use Tempeh as the main ingredient in our popular Proteinka bowl.

2. Buck

Next on the list is BUCK, and the latest update is that we’ve changed the packaging from 250g to 200g. This ensures it’s used up faster, reducing food waste—a mission Grashka is passionate about.

Want to know more about the product?

Buckwheat, known as the queen of grains, was once a staple in our ancestors' fields. It’s a highly nutritious, gluten-freecrop that is now making a comeback. In the second half of the 20th century, wheat took over, but we are restoring buckwheat’s royal status in our production.

What makes BUCK special?

BUCK is made from cold-hulled, organically grown Slovenian buckwheat, a rich source of protein and carbohydrates. It pairs excellently with vegetable stews, salad bowls, and pizzas, and it also works great in sandwiches. For the best experience, slice BUCK into rounds and lightly toast them on both sides.

Who is it for?

BUCK is perfect for those looking to support their body with plant-based, gluten-free, wholesome, and organic food. It’s great for athletes, children, families, and anyone who values a diverse nutrient intake.

How to prepare it?

Slice BUCK and lightly toast it in a pan. Enjoy it as a cold cut, in sandwiches, or as a side dish for warm meals and salads.

Ingredients: Water, buckwheat (29%), sunflower oil, onion, salt, smoked paprika, garlic, natural smoke flavor, pepper, marjoram.

Recipe: Plant-Based Spicy Pizza with BUCK

At Grashka Deli, we use Buck as the main ingredient for our Pizza  Peppe.

3. Smoked Tofu

Our third pick is a classic—tofu, which is the perfect addition to winter meals. In February, we created a simple, rustic recipe using our smoked tofu. You can find it here.

Want to know more about the product?

Tofu is no longer considered an exotic food—it has firmly established itself in the everyday diet of our country. It’s a nutritionally rich food that has many health benefits.

The soybeans in our tofu are organically, regionally grown, and GMO-free, helping to debunk myths about soy’s negative effects on the body. In fact, large-scale population studies confirm that soy consumption has positive health effects, and concerns about phytoestrogens are unfounded.

What makes our tofu special? It’s one of the best in terms of taste and texture, according to customer feedback.

Who is it for?

Smoked tofu is for everyone who wants to enjoy regionally produced plant-based food and contribute to a better future for the food system.

How to prepare it?

Smoked tofu can be eaten as is, simply sliced and enjoyed. It pairs well with sandwiches, charcuterie boards, and salads, can be grated like Parmesan, or pan-fried as in our featured recipe.

Ingredients: Soybeans, water, thickener: calcium chloride, smoke.

Usage: Great for Asian dishes, cold cuts, sandwiches, salads, risottos, and stews.

Recipe: Winter stew with Tofu.

At Grashka Deli, we use Tofu as the main ingredient in our popular Tofujka bowl.

This month, Grashka products were featured at Biofach, the world’s leading organic food trade fair. We were also mentioned in Torg, and you can read the article here: Top Plant-Based Dairy Suppliers.
