Grashka Introduces Two New Products: Roler and Mayo
We are delighted to announce the addition of two new products to our lineup – Roler and Mayo. These unique plant-based items have been available since October, not only in Grashka Deli but also in Interspar stores across Slovenia.
At Grashka, we asked ourselves: Why should a plant-based sausage taste like meat? Since that’s not our style, we opted for simple ingredients: buckwheat, miso, and beetroot.
"As the name suggests, our goal isn't to mimic the taste and texture of hot dogs. We're simply offering you four smoked cylinders of organic, cold-hulled buckwheat. The best food is straightforward. The beauty of this product lies in its simplicity. We believe that sometimes the best food is the kind that lets natural flavors and textures shine, without excessive processing or complexity.”
Roler is a plant-based product designed for those seeking tasty, healthy, wholesome, and eco-friendly food. Made from carefully selected regional ingredients sourced from less than 300 km away from Grashka, it contains no artificial additives or colorings. The main ingredient, buckwheat, is supplied by the organic mill Stražar in Slovenia. Chickpea miso paste and beetroot juice add complexity and umami to the flavor. The product is shaped like a "hot dog" for easy use at home or for picnics.
And since mayo is a natural pairing, we created one too – in a plant-based version.
Mayo is the perfect plant-based alternative to mayonnaise – healthier, more environmentally friendly, and delicious. While typical mayonnaise has around 80% fat, ours contains less than 40%, thanks to the use of Borlotti beans. It's still rich, so enjoy it in moderation.

At Grashka, we’re inspired by this incredible tradition and want to offer our customers a rich selection of essential, wholesome nutrients.
