December is here, bringing with it all the moments when you gather with family, friends, or colleagues.
And since most of us end up in the role of host at least once, we’ve prepared a few quick ideas on how to create delicious plant-based snacks and dishes with Grashka products – all ready in just a few simple steps.
Let’s take a look at how you can easily and deliciously dress up your festive table with Grashka.
1. BUCK Baguette Bites
Spread Mayo (our plant-based alternative to mayonnaise, made from borlotti beans and lower in fat) onto a fresh baguette slice.
Add a leaf of pink radicchio and a slice of Buck – our smoked buckwheat roll.
Finish with a cherry tomato or an olive on top.
2. Pink Radicchio with Smoked TOFU
Since we love ZeroWaste thinking at Grashka, we used the leftover radicchio from the baguette bites to make a salad. Radicchio is a beautiful winter alternative to lettuce.
We enriched it with our Smoked Tofu and seasoned it with balsamic vinegar, olive oil, and a pinch of salt.
3. CHIKO Trio
Nothing pairs better with a glass of wine than Chiko. Simply arrange all three flavours on a platter:
- Chiko Classic
- Chiko Smoked Paprika
- Chiko Rosemary
4. Smoked TOFU and Olives
For the most “Instagram-worthy” platter of the evening, cut smoked tofu into uniform cubes and arrange them neatly with olives or other vegetables cut into matching shapes.
5. Tuscan Kale with MANDELA and Pomegranate
As a side to your warm main dish, prepare a quick Tuscan kale salad.
Blanch the leaves briefly so they keep their deep green colour, then add pomegranate seeds and thin slices of Mandela.
Season with a simple homemade dressing of olive oil, lemon juice, a little mustard, salt, and pepper.
6. Marinated TEMPEH with Rice and Asparagus
Marinate Tempeh in soy sauce, garlic, and thyme, then pan-fry until golden brown.
Serve with fluffy rice and sautéed asparagus – or any side you enjoy.
For an extra layer of flavour, add a drizzle of soy sauce or serve it with Kimchi Ketchup for a spicy-fresh twist.
7. KOJIBAR with Hokkaido Squash
Bake Kojibar in the oven together with slices of Hokkaido squash.
Before baking, brush everything generously with olive oil, season with salt, and add sage or rosemary.
Serve with rice, roasted potatoes, or polenta.
We wish you a beautiful, delicious, and inspiring festive December.
